R.P. Brennan was the general contractor for this comprehensive construction project for the Borough of Manhattan Community College at their 70 Murray Street campus. The total project cost was 10 million dollars and encompassed 77,000 sq. ft.
The project converted one and a half floors into smart classrooms, medium-sized conference rooms, a student lounge, restrooms, and computer labs. The work also included building a modern, open staircase connecting both levels and allowing students ease of access to both levels, without using the elevators.
The project was completed on time and within budget. Our work for the college precedes previous work completed for CUNY and demonstrates our ongoing relationship with this prominent institution.
