The construction of this institution’s new 44,000 SF upper school, which serves 195 enrolled students, was completed by R.P. Brennan. The work included building open work spaces, a black box theater, a dance studio, three music studios, a 1,000-square-foot fitness center, science laboratories and various classrooms. The project featured the usage of wood throughout the school, including for the lockers in the hallways, accentuated ceilings and select floors throughout the building. The material was used to accentuate the Quaker values of nature, simplicity and sustainability.
