The project was a conversion of an underutilized mezzanine space of Lehman Library into the new GSAS Writing Studio. The GSAS Writing Studio, which opened in September 2018, is dedicated to supporting Arts and Sciences doctoral students who are in the process of writing the dissertation. Our work included building out quiet writing stations, meeting rooms, at downstairs Seminar Room and an exposed two-level staircase. The project also includes new HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, ambient lighting, decorative metal & glass, and state-of-the-art tele-data wiring to accommodate the new layout.
