This project scope was a renovation of approximately 3,100 square feet of existing wet lab space in Mudd Hall, suites 731, 733 and 735 for Columbia University. The scope of design work included new partitions, doors, ceiling, lighting fixtures, electrical and IT distribution, HVAC modifications, plumbing work, provisions for laboratory casework, sprinkler, fire alarm, and other life safety modifications as required. The laboratory equipment fit-out included computer workstations, dedicated containment facilities for fruit flies and mosquitos, microscope rooms, a tissue culture room, and several freezers.
