Forest City/Brookfield Properties sought to build out medical spaces for their client New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, and they retained R.P. Brennan’s general contracting services. The hospital’s 26,462 square foot space at 38 Sixth Avenue is part of Greenland Forest City Partners’ six million square foot Pacific Park Brooklyn development.
The project encompassed a build-out of four floors into state-of-the-art medical spaces, physicians’ offices, a lobby, and a patient waiting room. The full-floor medical suites were built for three different specialties, which were primary care, orthopedics, and urology. The work required meeting the detailed specifications and rigorous requirements of New York-Presbyterian for their medical spaces.
