Client: New York University
Architect: LTLArchitects
Square Footage: 16,400 SF
New York University’s Department of Social and Cultural Analysis (SCA) is a well-known educational hub. R.P. Brennan was hired as the general contractor on this project by New York University. In conjunction with the architect LTLArchitects, this project involved constructing 16,400 square feet of space into a new headquarters for the department.
The diverse space was built to foster an environment for interaction and collaboration between faculty and students. In addition to open student spaces, the floor included the build-out of faculty offices and meeting rooms. Upon completion, the stunning environment enhanced natural materials while maintaining overall modern minimalism.
The project was awarded the Best of Year Merit Award, Educational, Interior Design Magazine.
