This iconic landmark building underwent a $400 million lobby-to-roof renovation that saw some floors converted into condos. The project entailed renovating the reception area, The Rose Club and numerous high-end residential and hotel rooms. The entire project took 2 years to complete, in which R.P. Brennan maintained a strong relationship with the client over the course of the work.
The project included the renovation of the hotel’s famous reception area and a complete build-out of the popular destination The Rose Club. The Rose Club is a space that serves cocktails & gourmet light bites in a plush setting. A highlight of this work included a custom coffered ceiling.
In addition to an impressive reception area and The Rose Club, the project also included the design of the new rooms was inspired by Louis XV style of French decor, in which the construction of each room included highly detailed decorative accents. Specialized details included mosaic-tiled bathrooms, including 24-karat-gold faucets and glass showers and bathtubs.
